Itinerary

After hotel pick ups in the morning, you will head to the port area of Rio, totally rebuilt for the Olympic Games celebrated in the city in 2016. The modernization has transformed it into one of the most revitalized and fun districts of what is known as the ‘wonderful’ city.

Our first stop will be at Pio X Square, home to the iconic Candelaria Church. You will then stroll along the Olympic Boulevard enjoying the spectacular views of Guanabara Bay, while the professional guide tells you all about the history and curiosities of this enchanting avenue.

You will reach the modern Museum of Tomorrow, which has a fascinating exhibition about the science of the future. The building itself is the modern symbol of Rio of Janeiro due to its unique design and architecture, designed by Spanish neofuturistic architect Santiago Calatrava. You will see this beautiful site from the outside (entrance is not included).

After, you will catch the tram which will take you into the port and to the famous Kobra Mural, a giant graffiti artwork designed by the Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra. This giant coloured wall has become one of the main attractions of Rio.

At last, you will get to the largest aquarium located in South America: the AquaRio. You will be able to visit it and contemplate more than 8000 marine animals of up to 350 different species. Check out a modern and multifunctional space, where education, research, conservation, leisure, entertainment and culture meet. You will find several new attractions, grandiose enclosures and tanks that provide educational and pleasant entertainment to the public, such as the Big Tank and the Virtual Aquarium.

At the end of this amazing tour, you will be dropped off at your selected hotel.
