Fortaleza, the Capital of Ceará is even further north when compared to its other northeastern Capital counterparts. That means that Fortaleza is even closer to the equator. The weather is warm through the year.

As Fortaleza gets warm temperatures through the year, is the rain you have to watch for. From August through December you will have very good chances to avoid rains.

Baião de dois – A dish appreciated in all of Northeast, the Baião de dois is made with rice and beans cooked together with additional seasonings such as chive, tomatoes, pepper. Cheese and butterfat is usually added too.
