Itinerary

The Blue Lake Grotto is one of Bonito's main attractions and one of the most stunning landscapes in Brazil. In addition to its impressive beauty, the cave stands out for its grandeur: it is one of the largest flooded caves in the world, and visiting it offers an authentic journey back to the origins of the region.

To reach the lake, you have to go down almost 300 steps, which is equivalent to a 12-story building. During the descent, you will be able to admire several stalactites and stalagmites, rock formations that took millennia to develop. At the end of the trail, the reward is a lake with crystal-clear waters, whose blue color, which makes it famous, is the result of a combination of factors, such as the location of the cave and the presence of minerals at its bottom. Without a doubt, you will be enchanted by the beauty of this natural phenomenon, on a unique and contemplative tour.
