Itinerary

Our Ecology Tour in São Paulo takes place in Cantareira State Park, an area located just 15 kilometers from downtown.

Considered the largest urban forest in the world, Cantareira occupies an area equivalent to eight thousand soccer fields (650,000 m²) and due to its importance has been declared a world heritage site by Unesco.

Here you will be able to immerse yourself in the Atlantic Forest, a native environment rich in biodiversity, and hike some existing trails.

Our Ecology Tour in São Paulo has different levels of difficulty that you can choose from:

  • Pedra Grande Trail

9.5 kilometers of steep terrain, this hike will take approximately 3 hours to complete. The final destination of the hike is a great cliff which provides an incredible view of the entire city of São Paulo.

  • Waterfall Trail

This trail is approximately 3km long and will take you on a 2 hour hike through dense forest. On this tour you will encounter 3 waterfalls in which we can refresh ourselves.

  • Bica Trail

A leisurely trail that shows off the diversity of the Atlantic Forest, the 1.5km Bica will take just one hour to hike.
